Like a rainbow, LeVar Burton’s “Happy Thursday” message went totally over one online troll’s head.
Burton sent the good vibes to followers on X, formerly Twitter, with this throwback to “Reading Rainbow,” the educational children’s TV show he hosted for more than two decades:
But while Burton’s message was warmly received by most, one user appeared to take serious offense at the rainbow that appeared in the GIF.
“Not sure what the ‘rainbow’ has to do with it being Thursday,” they angrily commented in apparent fury at the appearance of the rainbow, a symbol of LGBTQ pride.
“Can we go a day without any virtue signaling?” the user fumed.
The president received an awkward reminder, right to his face.
