Fox News
Police in Atlanta said they responded to reports of an explosion in a high-rise building Saturday that housed state office for U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff.
The building contained the state office for U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., but the explosion was not related to the senator's office, authorities confirmed. Sarah Rumpf-Whitten is a breaking news writer for Fox News Digital and Fox Business.
Police said that the explosion was due to electrical construction work being done inside the building. She is a native of Massachusetts and is based in Orlando, Florida.
