Zomato vs Swiggy vs Ola: Race hots up for 10-minute delivery

The Indian quick-commerce sector may witness a multi-cornered contest for 10-minute delivery or faster food delivery among Zomato, Swiggy, and Ola. Zomato revealed its 10-minute delivery plans in March but received criticism from netizens.
Now Ola has started to offer 10-minute food delivery. Swiggy has been exploring similar options but it has not made any announcement regarding the timing of the delivery, according to an Economic Times report.

After receiving criticism, Zomato in a statement said the 10-minute delivery would be for specific nearby locations, popular and standardised menu items only.
Zomato Instant food items can be dispatched within 2 minutes, the online food delivery platform stated.
Ola has started a pilot project of delivering food items such as pizza, rolls, khichdi within 10 minutes in a few locations in Bengaluru, according to the ET report.
Foods are delivered through Ola dash, a grocery delivery arm.
