Youth Congress files police complaint against Sambit Patra over 'fake toolkit'

Members of Youth Congress have filed a police complaint against BJP leader Sambit Patra for allegedly circulating a "fake Congress toolkit".

The Indian Youth Congress on Thursday filed a police complaint against BJP leader Sambit Patra for allegedly circulating a forged "Congress toolkit". The complaint, submitted to Sansad Marg police station in Delhi by IYC national secretary Shivi Chauhan, accused Patra of "circulating a fake and forged document with intent to defame the Indian Youth Congress" and to "create animosity and ill-will between Hindus and Muslims". The Congress youth wing claimed that the BJP circulated the 'fake toolkit' as it intended to divert attention from the central government’s mismanagement of the Covid-19 pandemic.
