If you're missing a car or truck from the 1970s, good news! It may have been found.
The bad news? It was at the bottom of a lake.
Brantford police are searching for the owners of seven vehicles found submerged in Mohawk Lake.
Investigators say they suspect the vehicles were stolen, though there's no evidence any of them were involved in another crime.
The muddy automobiles range from the luxurious and compact to sporty and rugged. The OPP's dive team helped fish them out of the lake on April 8.
"All recovered vehicles were 1970s models and have sustained significant damage as a result of being submerged in the water for what appears to be an extended period of time," Brantford Police Service said in a media release.
It included pictures of two vehicles covered in mud.
The list of vehicles is as follows:
Police say they're treating the missing cars as property crime.
