IPL 2021: Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan has shared his first impressions of a young Virat Kohli and said that despite the immense fame that he was amidst, the cricketer’s commitment never dwindled. 

Irfan Pathan has shared his first impressions of a young Virat Kohli who broke into the scene in 2008 and enjoyed a lot of praise and recognition since his first season in the IPL. Kohli made his IPL debut in 2008, for RCB and has stayed on with the team since, after leading India to a win in the 2008 U-19 World Cup. Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan has recalled those days when he played alongside a young Kohli, who was later made the captain of the RCB in 2013. Pathan has remembered how Kohli was all over the news and made it to page 3. "Whenever I used to see Virat Kohli in the IPL, I only saw one player. Someone who was young, has reached a certain level and is now enjoying himself on and off the field.
