IPL 2022: Star batter Virat Kohli has taken to social media to thank the fans and team management after Royal Challengers Bangalore exited from IPL 2022 on Friday.
Royal Challengers Bangalore star Virat Kohli has penned a heartfelt note to fans and team management after RCB lost Qualifier 2 against Rajasthan Royals to get knocked out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Kohli took to social media to thank RCB's management and the fans and also posted photos from his IPL 2022 campaign.
"Sometimes you win, and sometimes you don't, but the 12th Man Army, you have been fantastic, always backing us throughout our campaign. You make cricket special. The learning never stops. (1/2)," Kohli wrote on his official social media handles.

"A big thanks to the management, support staff and all the people who are part of this amazing franchise. See you next season @RCBTweets #PlayBold (2/2)."
Kohli’s sub-par season ended with just two half-centuries from 16 games. He was beaten by the bounce of Prasidh Krishna and edged a simple catch after scoring just 7. Kohli scored just 341 runs at an average of 22.73 and a strike rate of 115.78.
Bangalore's batters struggled to put up partnerships against Krishna, 3/22, and Obed McCoy, 3/23. They struck at regular intervals by bowling at impressive lengths.
Captain Faf du Plessis labored for 27 deliveries to make 25 while Glenn Maxwell tried to break out but was brilliantly caught by a diving McCoy at fine leg in the 14th over in Trent Boult's return spell.
