Heavy rain alerts have been issued by the IMD for several parts of these states. Furthermore, intense rainfall is likely to continue over parts of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh during the next five days.
Meanwhile, the Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh was inundated following heavy rainfall, throwing life out of gear.
