Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata fame Kanchi Singh took to her Instagram stories to announce that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The actress is currently under home quarantine.

The second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has hit India hard. The recent celebrity to have contracted the virus is Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Kanchi Singh. The actress was recently in Bhopal to shoot for her Bollywood debut Shukr-Dosh. She took to her Instagram stories to inform her fans about testing positive for the novel coronavirus. Kanchi also said that she has isolated herself. Kanchi Singh took to her Instagram stories and wrote, "Unfortunately I have tested positive for Covid-19.I have isolated myself and am in home quarantine. I am following all the safety protocols. To all of you out there, take care, stay safe and truly don't step out if you don't have to! It's time we come together by staying indoors and fight this virus! Love, Kanchi (sic)."
