Yankees trade Mike Ford to rival after dreadful stretch

BUFFALO — Mike Ford is no longer a Yankee.
The first baseman was traded to the Rays on Thursday for cash considerations and a player to be named later. He will report to Triple-A Durham. Ford, who will turn 29 next month, was designated for assignment last week and struggled in both The Bronx and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.More Related News
