Jackie Shroff exclusively told IndiaToday.in that he would always remember Bappi Lahiri with his iconic song Yaad Aa Raha Hai Tera Pyaar. The actor also called Bappi da a 'world class musician'.
For those who grew up in the 80s and 90s, Bappi Lahiri's soundtracks were the way to party. The popular singer-composer has given us some memorable music. Bappi da, as he was known to peers and fans, lost his life last night, February 15, that has left us all in mourning. While many celebs and millions of fans are paying tribute to the musical star, Jackie Shroff got into an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, where he recalled his favourite song of Bappi Lahiri. The actor also mourned his death and called him a 'a world musician'.
Jackie Shroff told us, "What a great soul, what a great man! He was a world musician. My condolences to the family. I remember whenever I used to meet him, I would always hum one of his songs that I really liked. It was Yaad Aa Raha Hai, Kahan hum kahan tum hue tum kahan gum. Such a lovely song. I will always remember him whenever I listen to this song."
Bappi Lahiri was being treated for multiple illnesses. He was brought to the hospital after his health deteriorated on Tuesday night and doctors tried to revive him but they couldn't.
