
Xiaomi to invest Rs 100 crore in expanding retail outreach over next one year

The electronics maker on Thursday announced its new initiative - Grow With Mi (GWM) through which the company is planning to double the number of offline retail touch points as well as number of exclusive retail stores in India.
Xiaomi is set to invest Rs 100 crore to help its retail partners and expand its offline reach in India over the next one year. The electronics maker on Thursday announced its new initiative - Grow With Mi (GWM) through which the company is planning to double the number of offline retail touch points as well as number of exclusive retail stores in India. The company claims to have over 15,000 retail touch points, out of which 3000+ are Mi Stores that sell Xiaomi products in the country. The company now aims to increase the total number of touchpoints to over 30,000 in the next one year. Xiaomi will also double the number of exclusive Mi Stores from 3000+ to 6000+ over the next two years. The Rs 100 crore package will be used to help the retail partners set up and run these stores over the next two years. GWM aims to foster retail entrepreneurship in the country especially in rural markets and will create employment opportunities for over 10,000 Indians.More Related News
