World Test Championship final: Even as the Covid-19 restrictions are in place, Virat Kohli had the opportunity to meet and greet his good friend Kane Williamson ahead of India's WTC final against New Zealand at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on Thursday.

Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson had time to meet and greet even as it was raining heavily on the eve of the historic World Test Championship final in Southampton. The two captains caught up after their respective pre-match press conference duties at the Ageas Bowl. In a video shared by New Zealand Cricket, Kohli and Williamson can be seen spending a few minutes together at the Ageas Bowl after the Black Caps skipper, in a bid to escape getting drenched, moved towards the opposite number who was stationed under the stands. The two captains will be leading their respective sides in the historic WTC final on June 18 in Southampton. The winner takes USD 1.6 million and the bragging rights along with the World Test Championship mace.The camaraderie between the two captains was evident when the two met amid all the Covid-19 restrictions in the lead up to the final.
