Rain is likely to play spoilsport in the India vs New Zealand World Test Championship Final, starting in UK's Southampton today - the first session of Day 1 has already been suspended because of the rainy weather. And Anushka Sharma, just like all cricket buffs around the world, doesn't want that to happen. Anushka has accompanied husband Virat Kohli to the UK and is currently quarantined at the Ageas Bowl stadium, the venue for the Test Final. The Southampton weather reminded Anushka of a nursery rhyme and we can so relate to her. Rephrasing the nursery rhyme Rain Rain Go Away, Anushka wrote this in an Instagram story: "Rain rain go away, come again after five days." For the uninitiated, the Test Match is scheduled for a duration of five days, from June 18 to June 22. Update: Unfortunately there will be no play in the first session on Day 1 of the ICC World Test Championship final. #WTC21 Take a look at Anushka Sharma's Instagram story here: On Friday afternoon, BCCI shared photos of the Ageas Bowl stadium along with glimpses of the overcast sky. In an updated statement, the BCCI added: "Unfortunately there will be no play in the first session on Day 1 of the ICC World Test Championship final."More Related News
