WTC Final: Play both Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja against New Zealand, says Harbhajan Singh
India Today
Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh says Indian team management must play Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja in the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand, irrespective of the conditons.
The spin dup of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja has played only one Test match together in England, that too in 2014. But former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh firmly believes that both Ashwin and Jadeja should play in the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand in Southampton, starting from Friday. “India team management should play both the spinners, irrespective of the conditions and pitch. With two experienced quality spinners in their rank, they should not worry about the wickets. No matter what conditions are, you have to back your best bowlers,” Harbhajan Singh told India Today on eSalamCricket. The cold conditions in Southampton might not be too conducive for spinners, with the pitch expected to remain solid throughout the course, but Harbhajan feels that two spinners in a five-man attack are the way forward.More Related News
