Former India cricketer VVS Laxman expressed his disappointment after rain washed out an entire day's play for the second time in the World Test Championship (WTC) final on Monday, diminishing hopes of a result in the India v New Zealand contest. Laxman said ICC did not get the rules right as both the teams would want to win lay their hands on the inaugural WTC trophy. On Monday, Day 4 action was abandoned without a ball being bowled after persistent rain in Southampton. Only 141.1 overs have been bowled in the match so far as the inclement Southampton weather continued to mar the inaugural edition of Test cricket's pinnacle event.
