World Test Championship Final: Sanjay Manjrekar said Ajinkya Rahane's pull shot against Neil Wagner that brought an end to his innings on Day 3 in Southampton is a reflection of the tentative manner in which he has batted over the last few years.
Former India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar lauded the way in which Ajinkya Rahane applied himself in tough conditions on Day 3 of the World Test Championship final in Southampton. However, he said the vice-captain got out playing a shot that was tentative and not committed. Ajinkya Rahane hit 49 and was looking in complete control in overcast conditions towards the end of Day 2 and the morning of Day 3. New Zealand bowlers gave nothing away but the India vice-captain was looking good to help the team post a competitive total. WTC FINAL, INDIA vs NEW ZEALAND, Day 4 LIVE UPDATESMore Related News
