
Work of Ram Temple to be completed by Dec 2023: Ram Janmabhoomi Trust’s Champat Rai

The general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Champat Rai said that the construction of the Ram Temple will be completed by December 2023.
The construction work of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is in full swing and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General secretary Champat Rai, on the occasion of Ram Navami, has said that it will be completed by December 2023.
Champat Rai was in Lucknow to attend a programme organised by Vedanta India at Lucknow Sugarcane Institute.
He also said that due to general elections in 2024, the possibility is less. “Due to Lok Sabha elections 2024, the model code of conduct will be implemented and stone work will take time, so, the possibility is less, but efforts are being made to install the idol of Lord Ram in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple in 2023 so that the devotees can offer prayers”, said Champat Rai.

Earlier, work on the temple was interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Work on the Ram Temple in Ayodhya began after Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the bhoomi pujan on August 5, 2020 and laid the foundation stone of the temple. The temple is being constructed over five acres of land. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is supervising the temple construction.
