Since the onset of the Covid pandemic in 2020, the IT industry has seamlessly adopted work from home model.
The work from home comfort for a number of employees is likely to get over as several companies, including information technology (IT) giants, are planning to call back their staff to offices in a staggered manner.
Since the onset of the Covid pandemic in 2020, the IT industry has seamlessly adopted work from home model. However, IT majors such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, Cognizant, and Infosys are planning to gradually resume work in office mode, according to ET Now digital report.
Wipro has asked senior managerial-level employees to attend office by March even though it will be for two days per week initially.
Cognizant is planning to start in-office operations by April.
While the hybrid work model may stay, Infosys is planning to open offices for a large number of staff in the upcoming three to four months.
As per TCS's remote working policy, its associates need to work from the base location.
In the US, tech giant Microsoft has announced its plans to reopen offices from February 28.
