Former J&K chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said that he will not misled people on the restoration of Article 370 in the state.
Former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Sunday said that he will not promise to restore Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, which was abrogated by the Centre in 2019.
Addressing a public meeting in Baramulla, Azad said he will not mislead the people over the issue of Article 370 as only a government with a two-thirds majority in Parliament can ensure the restoration of the provision.

“To restore Article 370, 350 votes in the Lok Sabha and 175 votes in the Rajya Sabha would be needed and he does not have those numbers,” said Azad.
The former Rajya Sabha MP said he will not raise issues over which he has no control. "Some people have been saying that I don't talk about Article 370. I want to tell them that Azad does not befool people for electoral gains," said the former J&K CM.
