Seven women from Uzbekistan filed a complaint to the commission saying that they were brought to India on the pretext of jobs but were forced into prostitution and sex slavery after they arrived.
They said that some of them were brought to Delhi via Nepal and some directly to India on tourist visas and medical visas at different times. They said that the passports and other documents of those who were brought via Nepal were snatched away there and then they were brought to Delhi.
Meanwhile, the passports and other documents of the women who were brought to Delhi on medical visas were taken away by the traffickers after arriving in India.
