Saba Karim, who was the BCCI's General Manager - Cricket Operations said getting red ball cricket back in the women's domestic circuit is the way to go after the national team's encouraging performances in England and Australia.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may decide to hold a full-fledged women's Indian Premier League (IPL) at some point in the future but having a strong domestic structure is more important, former wicketkeeper Saba Karim has said.
Karim, who also served as the General Manager - Cricket Operations at the BCCI, said getting red ball cricket back in the women's domestic circuit is the way to go after the national women's team's encouraging performances in England and Australia.
