Women farmers took charge of the three protest sites on Delhi's borders on Monday to mark the occasion of International Women's Day. Farmers' outfits protesting against the Centre's three farm laws lauded the "magnificent role" played by the women in the movement. Celebrating their contribution to the 100-day strong agitation, hundreds of women farmers were seen sitting under coloured canopies at the Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur borders. Slogans of "kisan ekta" (farmer unity) could be heard from far away. Waving "kisan-mazdoor ekta" flags, women from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP, MP, Maharashtra and J&K also joined the celebrations at the protest sites.More Related News
