Woman tries to avoid pothole, dies after being hit by truck

A woman died after being hit by a truck while trying to avoid a pothole in Tamil Nadu's Kancheepuram.

A 37-year-old woman died after being hit by a truck, while trying to avoid a pothole, in Tamil Nadu's Kancheepuram. Parameswari was on her way to pick her husband Arumugam when she met with the accident.

CCTV footage showed how Parameswari was trying to avoid the pit when she was hit by the truck. She died on the spot.

Sivakanchi Police reached the spot and sent Parameswari’s body for autopsy and detained the truck driver for questioning.
