Woman strangles 3-year-old daughter for supporting father in Bengaluru

A three-year-old girl was allegedly strangled by her 26-year-old mother for supporting her father in Bengaluru.

A three-year-old girl was allegedly strangled by her 26-year-old mother at an under-construction building in Bengaluru on Tuesday. The accused, identified as Sudha, worked as housekeeping staff at a tiles shop in west Bengaluru. According to police, the woman was "irritated" with her daughter as she always sided with her father Eeranna, a daily-wage labourer. Police said the couple, Sudha and Eeranna, fought over TV remote and their daughter supported the father. Irked by this, the mother killed her daughter.
