Woman govt official falls from 5th floor apartment in Bhopal, dies

The manager posted in Madhya Pradesh Industrial development corporation jumped to death from her apartment building in Bhopal.
A 27-year-old woman, who was posted as a manager with Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC), fell to death from the fifth floor of an apartment building in Bhopal. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
The woman jumped off the balcony and was rushed to the hospital where she was declared brought dead. The exact reason behind her extreme step is yet to be known.
Her family members took her body to Gwalior for cremation after the post-mortem examination.
Shahpura Station House Officer told India Today/Aajtak, "The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Rani Sharma, a resident of Gwalior and was working in Bhopal. She worked with the MPIDC at the ministry. We received information that a woman had fallen from a building in Pradhan Urban Life Colony and her family members have taken her to the nearest hospital."

"The woman was unconscious after falling from the fifth floor and died late on Monday evening. After receiving information, the father of the victim, who is serving as an ASI police officer in Gwalior, reached Bhopal. He then took his daughter's body to Gwalior," the officer said.
Police station in charge Mahendra Kumar Mishra said, "We have not recorded the statements of the victim's family. The woman lived with a roommate in a flat and she revealed that the victim was depressed for the past few days. Rani's mother had come to Bhopal to visit her for around 10 days and was staying with her in the flat. We will also record the statements of her office colleagues if the need arises."
