A woman gave birth to a child in Baramati in Maharashtra's Pune district on a moving bus during her journey from Devdur in Karnataka to Pune.

A woman gave birth to a child in Maharashtra's Baramati on a moving bus during her journey from Devdur in Karnataka to Pune. After delivery, the woman, identified as 20-year-old Jyoti Somnath Chavan, and her newborn were admitted to a primary health centre in Pune district's Nira.

Jyoti lives with her husband in Pune's Bhosari. Some days ago, she had gone to her father's house at Murampurtanda village in Manvi taluka of Karnataka for delivery. However, after doctors there suggested caesarean delivery of her baby, Jyoti's father decided to bring her to Pune for further treatment.
