Woman gives birth after being mowed down by truck in UP, dies minutes later

A pregnant woman delivered a baby after being mowed down by a speeding truck in Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh. The woman died instantly after delivering the baby.

The 26-year-old victim fell on the road in this and a speeding truck coming from behind mowed her down. The truck driver fled the scene after hitting the woman.
The badly injured woman went into labour on the road and delivered a healthy baby girl. Eye witnesses, according to several reports, couldn’t believe their eyes.
While the husband and the baby are safe, the woman can not be saved.
“The condition of the girl is fine. Two doctors have been engaged for her treatment,” the principal of the medical college where the baby girl is admitted, Dr Sangeeta Aneja, was quoted by News18 as saying.
Also, a group of doctors from the district hospital ran some tests on the baby and found that she was absolutely fine.
