A woman was seen clinging to a tree to stay afloat during heavy rains and flood. She was rescued by firefighters as the video went viral on social media.

A woman, whose car was swept away by floodwaters, was rescued by Fort Worth Firefighters in Texas, US, and a video of the incident has gone viral on social media. As heavy rains hit the Fort Worth neighbourhood on May 24, the woman made every attempt to drive through the stream but her minivan was swept away. In the meantime, she jumped out of her car and held onto the branches of a tree to stay afloat as she got caught in the stream. One of the rescue officials was seen at the spot as he tried to rescue her and threw a rope towards her. Finally, the rescue official managed to reach her with the help of the rope. As soon as he reached the spot, he gave a life jacket to the woman, and tied the other end of the rope on his waist. Both, thereafter, managed to get out of the stream safely.
