The unnamed woman recalled telling Diddy she was married, but the music mogul continued to assault her for hours, per a lawsuit.
An unnamed woman claimed she attempted to alert her husband of her whereabouts after growing concerns that she had been drugged while in the car with Sean “Diddy” Combs in 1999, in a lawsuit filed on Thursday accusing him of sexual assault.
The woman, who was 23 at the time and working as a model, alleged she was attending a VIP party hosted by Combs in New York City, according to a civil complaint cited by multiple outlets. Despite telling the music mogul she was married, Combs offered her a ride to his home, which she accepted — though the rapper promised there would be no inappropriate conduct, according to People.
During the drive to Combs’ home, the woman recalled feeling drowsy and suspected she had been drugged, according to the reports. At this point the woman noticed several pieces of mail inside the car and texted her husband the address on the envelopes to show him to where she was going.
Once inside, Combs pressured her to drink more, before leading her to a bed, where he sexually assaulted her for hours, according to the complaint cited by People. She had told Combs she was married and that she’d texted her husband the address.
According to USA Today, the woman was able to insist on leaving Combs’ home when the drugs wore off.
