With eyes on Uttar Pradesh polls, parties woo public with yatras

The entire month of August was in the name of yatras, where parties such as the ruling BJP, the Samajwadi Party and the Congress have started preparing their political pitch through these visits.

Various political parties have virtually launched their election campaigns through Jan Ashirwad Yatra, Cycle Yatra and Dalit Swabhiman Yatra to in the run up to the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls. The entire month of August was in the name of yatras, where parties such as the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the principal Opposition Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Congress have started preparing their political pitch through these visits.
