The Afghan man said no one was willing to buy items as people have no money. The Taliban have shut down all the banks, triggering an economic crisis in Afghanistan.
Amid several distressing visuals emerging from Kabul, a video shows an Afghan man taking to the streets and selling his household items in a bid to earn a living.Speaking to Avsaka news agency, the man said that by selling some of the household items, he could only make a daily earning of 50-60 afghanis (Rs 42-Rs 51). The amount is sufficient only to buy him four to five pieces of bread a day.In the video, the man can be seen selling a variety of items, including kitchen utensils, chairs and a small portable fan.However, he noted that no one was willing to purchase these items, as the country was reeling under an economic crisis.
