* HE the Minister of Public Health stresses need to follow Covid-19 precautionary measures during Ramadan People need to join forces and demonstrate solidarity against the Covid-19 pandemic, and can gradually bring things back to normal with a little sacrifice, HE the Minister of Public Health Dr Hanan Mohamed al-Kuwari has stressed. In her message on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, published on the Ministry of Public Health's website, HE Dr al-Kuwari said: "I would like to extend my sincere congratulations wishing you and all Muslims many happy and prosperous returns of the holy month. "The holy month of Ramadan this year will, undoubtedly, be different, particularly with the unabated prevailing Covid-19 pandemic and the rise in the number of people infected with the virus. The current situation compelled the competent authorities to take the hard decision of reinstating some of the restrictions which had been imposed earlier. We realise that these restrictions would perhaps cause some change to the traditions we usually follow during the holy month, including social get-togethers, family gatherings and other practices specific to the holy month, but we ought to persevere and abide by the applicable precautionary measures until this pandemic is over.More Related News
