With 7 seats in hand, National People's Party says open to joining new BJP govt in Manipur

Conrad Sangma, leader of the National People's Party, said his party is open to joining the new BJP government in Manipur.
Meghalaya Chief Minister and National Peope's Party chief Conrad Sangma has said that his party is open to joining the government in Manipur if the BJP invites them.
The NPP fought against its National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partner BJP in the recently held Manipur election and won seven seats.
Conrad Sangma said, "We are together at the Centre and in Arunachal Pradesh. We extend our support to BJP in Manipur as well, they have a full majority. If they send us an invitation to join the government, we will. The elections are different, the government formations are different."
