Wisconsin Democrats began an effort to pressure GOP lawmakers against impeaching Justice Janet Protasiewicz over abortion and legislative map remarks.
The Wisconsin Democratic Party on Wednesday launched a $4 million effort to pressure Republicans to back down from impeaching Protasiewicz. After investing nearly $10 million in electing the liberal justice, the effort is meant to protect what Democrats hailed as a major political victory.
