Wintery blast expected Thursday means snow events declared in Waterloo region

A blast of snow to remind everyone it's still winter is expected Thursday evening and with it, snow events have been declared in Waterloo region.
What time the snow events begin differs depending on the municipality:
The snow events remain in effect for 24 hours unless extended or cancelled by each municipality.
Any vehicles left on roadways may be ticketed or towed. In Kitchener, the ticket for parking on the street during a snow event is $80.
The Township of Woolwich reminded residents not to push snow from their driveway onto roads.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Waterloo region, Guelph and southern Wellington County. The area could see up to 20 cm of snow by Friday morning.
There is a winter weather travel advisory for northern Wellington County.
As well, the Grand River Conservation Authority has issued flood warnings and flood watches throughout its watershed as river levels rise as snow melted and rain fell Thursday during the day.
