
Will not cut the syllabus for the current academic year: Karnataka education minister

Karnataka Education Minister, BC Nagesh, has said that the syllabus for the current academic year will not be cut down. However, certain holidays can be removed so as to complete the syllabus on time.
Recently, the Karnataka Chief Minister, Basaaraj Bommai, announced the decision to reopen the schools in the state. However, physical classes for 9 to 12 have already commenced in various schools since August 23. Schools are allowed to accommodate only 50 percent of the students as per the SOPs. The Minister of Primary and Secondary education, BC Nagesh, has said that the government has no intention of cutting down the syllabus for the current academic year. He added that the syllabus can be completed if possible to conduct all classes and if certain holidays are cut short.More Related News
