Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said if his party is voted to power in Punjab in next year’s polls, it will give free and better treatment in all government hospitals in the State.
“Today, I have come to give a guarantee related to health services,” Mr. Kejriwal, who is on a two-day visit to Punjab, said at a news conference in Ludhiana.
He spelled out “six guarantees” related to health care, promising to implement these if the AAP is voted to power.

Former CM B.S. Yediyurappa had challenged the first information report registered on March 14, 2024, on the alleged incident that occurred on February 2, 2024, the chargesheet filed by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), and the February 28, 2025, order of taking cognisance of offences afresh by the trial court.
