Will Bollywood halt shoots again amid rising Covid-19 cases?

With news of B-Town stars testing Covid positive everyday, will Bollywood halt shoots yet again? While the release of Jersey, RRR have been postponed, Katrina Kaif had just started shooting for Merry Christmas.

After facing a huge setback in 2020, the film industry was finally getting back on track at the start of 2021. It was all assumed that the original charm of the industry would be back again. Many new projects were being announced and long-delayed films such as Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh-starrer 83 found their space on the big screen. No sooner did the situation feel somewhat normal than the new variant of coronavirus was back again. Theatre owners have already started to bear the brunt of it and we are now left thinking if film and show shoots will once again be halted amid the rising Covid-19 cases.
