The movie was initially scheduled to release on Christmas, 2020. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the film witnessed multiple delays. But now, it is ready to release on the occasion of Vaisakhi on April 14, 2022. The perfectionist of Bollywood has reunited with his 3 Idiots co-stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh for the film, which is the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump.
