Diese Geschichte handelt von zwei — eigentlich aber drei — Hochzeiten und dem Völkermord, der dazwischen lag. Sie beginnt 1933 in Wilna, wo ein gewisser Morris Rabinowitz eine gewisse Miriam Dworetsky heiratete.
