The Bombay High Court on Wednesday asked the Maharashtra government the reason why it did not file an FIR following the death of TikTok star Pooja Chavan. Former Maharashtra Forest Minister Sanjay Rathod submitted his resignation last month to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray amidst controversy over the death of Pooja Chavan. The 22-year-old TikTok star died after falling from a building on February 8, and Pune police said they were probing a suicide angle. The BJP later accused Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Rathod of having links with the woman after his purported photographs, audio and video clips with her went viral on social media.More Related News
