Why Union Minister Nitin Gadkari wants Zojila tunnel project to be completed before 2024 Lok Sabha polls

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday reviewed construction work of Zojila and Z-Morh tunnels on the Srinagar-Leh highway. He has set December 2023 as the deadline for the completion of the Zojila tunnel project before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

He reviewed the construction work of the strategically important Zojila and Z-Morh tunnels on the Srinagar-Leh highway, which are being constructed at breakneck speed.
