Why is Black Widow not available on Disney+Hotstar in India?

If you have been eagerly waiting to watch Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow in India, you may have to wait a little longer. The film is releasing today, around the world, except India.

Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are unable to contain their excitement as the much-awaited film, Black Widow, is all set to release in theatres and on Disney+Hotstar in North America and several other countries today, July 9. It will be available on Disney+ under its Premiere Access section for $30 on the same date. But, Indian viewers may have to wait for some more time before they see Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow.
