Accused Pulkit Arya's father, Vinod Arya, is a well-known name in BJP. At present, Vinod is a vice chairman of the Uttarakhand OBC Welfare Commission.
In the missing case of a girl in Uttarakhand, the Pauri Garhwal Police stated that following a dispute with the girl, three accused pushed the victim into the canal near Chila Road. Following the incident, the girl drowned in the waterbody and the SDRF (state disaster response force) team was on the lookout for her body.
The accused in the murder case are Pulkit Arya, Ankit Gupta and Saurabh Bhaskar. All three accused were presented before a court and were sent to jail for 14 days of judicial custody.
The authorities said that the missing case of the girl has been changed into a murder case. "Sections of murder and concealment of evidence, sections 302 and 201 of the IPC have been charged against the accused," SSP Pauri Garhwal said.
