White House says Biden will release tax returns 'soon'
CNN
The White House will release President Joe Biden's tax returns "soon," press secretary Jen Psaki announced Monday, reinstating a presidential tradition that was halted by former President Donald Trump.
Psaki suggested that Biden's tax returns could come as early as Monday, telling reporters to "stay tuned." Trump became the only major party presidential candidate in the post-Watergate era never to release any of his tax returns, claiming multiple times that he was not able to as he was being audited. According to the IRS, every president and vice president is guaranteed an audit every year since the Watergate era.More Related News
