The Aam Aadmi Party leaders have raised questions over Rs 3 lakh crore debt left behind by the previous governments.
The Aam Aadmi Party has hit out at previous governments over saddling Punjab with debt. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann accused the previous governments of pushing the state into a debt trap and said his government will enquire where the money was used.
"I know where this money is lying. This belongs to the people and we cannot just leave it saying it is a thing of the past," CM Bhagwant Mann said.
According to the AAP leaders, the previous dispensation did not make any significant progress in the state in regards to the construction of new hospitals, schools, colleges or universities.
