The first doses of Russia's Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine were administered in India on Friday in a soft launch that is expected to be scaled up in the coming days. The vaccine will cost Rs 995.40 including tax for a shot, the company said, as well as announcing a single-dose variant Sputnik Light that could be approved in the next few weeks. Deepak Sapra, the CEO of Dr Reddy's Laboratories, which is manufacturing the vaccines in India, spoke to NDTV in an exclusive interview, answering a host of questions from viewers.
