Did you know that after joining Bollywood, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput had returned to television to play the role of a detective on CID? He helped ACP Pradyuman and Daya solve a murder mystery.

Before ruling Bollywood, Sushant Singh Rajput had started his career in television where he won many hearts. He made a name for himself in the Telly world as well as in Bollywood. However, not many know that even after joining movies, he had returned to the small screen in 2015 for a special episode of Sony TV's CID. It was around the time of the release of his film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy in which Sushant Singh Rajput played the titular role. To promote Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, Sushant Singh Rajput turned detective for an episode of CID. He had appeared as his character from the film and sported a moustache and tied his hair back. The late actor joined the forces of CID and helped ACP Pradyuman, Daya and Abhijeet to solve a series of murder cases across Mumbai and Kolkata. In the end, the team finds the murderers with the help of Sushant and the episode ends on a happy note.
