In 2019, Alia Bhatt had reacted to a fake wedding invite of her and Ranbir Kapoor that went viral on social media. The couple is all set to get married on April 13.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's fans are eagerly waiting for the two to tie the knot. The couple will be a married couple on April 14, and we just can't wait for their wedding pictures now. Their pre-wedding functions will kickstart today, April 13. Amid this, an old video has resurfaced on the internet from 2019 where Alia Bhatt is seen reacting to her fake wedding invitation card with Ranbir Kapoor. The badly designed invitation claimed that the couple's wedding will happen at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur on January 22, 2020.
According to the fake wedding invite, Alia and Ranbir were supposed to tie the knot on January 22, 2020. The invite was badly edited as it misspelled Alia's name as 'Aliya' and it got the name of Mahesh Bhatt wrong as 'Mukesh Bhatt.' Furthermore, January 22nd was written as ‘22th.’ The invite read, "Mrs. Neetu & Mr. Rishi Kapoor cordially invite you for the Sagan Ceremony of their son Ranbir with Aliya (D/o Mrs. Soni & Mr. Mukesh Bhatt on Wednesday, 22th January, 2020 05:00 pm onwards."

Later, Alia was snapped at the airport. In a happy, chirpy mood, the actress wished the photographers waiting for her at the airport. When the photographers quizzed the actress about the wedding invite, she laughed off and said, "Kya bataun?"
